OHSWEKEN, Ont. (July 7, 2022) – The 25th season of Friday Night Excitement at Ohsweken Speedway continues this Friday, July 8 when Strickland’s presents Drive Safe, Ride Safe, Race Safe Bicycle Night! All kids age 16 and under who are in attendance on Friday will have a chance to win new bicycles donated by Ohsweken Speedway’s race teams. More than 60 bicycles were given away at the last Bicycle Night in 2019.
The Kool Kidz-Corr/Pak 360 Sprint Cars, Strickland’s Crate Sprint Cars, Middleport Mechanical Thunder Stocks, and HRW Automotive Mini Stocks are all part of the show on Friday night. The championship chases are starting to come into focus now, as each division has completed four events. Ryan Turner won the $10,000 Canadian Sprint Car Nationals prize last Friday and leads the 360 Sprint Car standings, while Lucas Smith is now atop the Crate Sprint Car standings. The stock cars will be back after a week off with Dave Bailey leading the way in the Thunder Stock division, while Tyler Lafantaisie has the Mini Stock points lead.

About Ohsweken Speedway: Opened in 1996, Ohsweken Speedway is a motorsports complex and event centre featuring a 3/8 mile clay oval auto racing track and 1/6 mile clay oval Micro Sprint and Karting track.
