CASH AWARDS ADD TO LUCRATIVE CANADIAN SPRINT CAR NATIONALS PURSE

OHSWEKEN, Ont. (June 30, 2022) – Extra cash will be on the line this Friday, July 1 when Burger Barn presents the 16th Running of the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals at Ohsweken Speedway.

This special event features a 35 lap $10,000-to-win, $1,000-to-start A-Main for the Pinty’s Knights of Thunder 360 Sprint Car series, plus $2,000-to-win A-Mains for 358 Modifieds and the Action Sprint Tour Fueled by Pinty’s. Along with the already lucrative purse, several cash awards will also be available for the 360 Sprint Car drivers:

-Corr/Pak Merchandising has returned to present the traditional Bill Peer Memorial Best Appearing Car Award which will pay the winner $300.

-The Fastest Qualifier Award will be worth $300 from Qwick Wick Fire Starter, while the Fastest Canadian Qualifier Award will be worth an additional $300.

-Nitro 54 Variety will present the $300 Hard Charger Award for the driver who gains the most positions in the 35 lap A-Main on Friday night.

-The new Larry Gartly Memorial Last Chance Hard Charger Award presented by Doddey Creek Agri Services will go to the driver who advances from the B-Main and gains the most combined positions between the B-Main and A-Main.

-All A-Main starters will receive a $100 Travel Bonus from DBD Systems (www.dbdsystems.com) in Memory of super fan Brian Dempsey.

Entries for the 16th CSCN have already been received from Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, New York, and Pennsylvania, and competitors are asked to file their entries online if they have not already done so.
