OHSWEKEN, Ont. (August 7, 2026) – Strode’s BBQ & Deli and Elite presented Noelle Teal Memorial night on Friday at Ohsweken Speedway. Mack DeMan, Larry Gledhill, Dave Bailey, Ryan Beagle, Nick Erskine, Alexander Klotz, Sean Iftody, and Ashton Anderson took victories.
Strickland’s Crate Sprint Cars
Twin Feature 1:
Mack Deman started on pole with Holly Porter next to him for the Crate Sprint Car A-Main Twin Feature 1. DeMan took the commanding lead over the field as soon as the green flag was displayed. The race featured high intensity racing with a few cautions as drivers battled for position with only fourteen laps to work with. Costa made a campaign in the closing laps to grab the lead away from DeMan but fell short as the checkers came out. DeMan led all the laps picking the victory. Rounding out the top five were Costa in second, Steve Murdock third, Liam Martin fourth, and Porter fifth.
Twin Feature 2:
Larry Gledhill started on pole with Niko Hansen next to him for the Crate Sprint Car A-Main Twin Feature 2. The yellow flag flew as Logan Ferguson had a racing incident, coming to a stop before the first lap could be completed. Gledhill wasted no time as he put a large gap between himself and the rest of the field once the race got restarted. Proven race winners such as Mack DeMan and Jesse Costa could not find a way around Gledhill. A late race caution occurred on the final lap, extinguishing Gledhill’s massive lead. Gledhill stood tall on the final restart, winning his first crate sprint feature, leading every lap. Next to finish were Liam Martin in second, DeMan third, Steve Murdock fourth, and Costa fifth.
Middleport Mechanical Thunder Stocks
Twin Feature 1:
Clinton Nicholls and Brock Gregory brought the 26 car field to the green flag for the Thunder Stock A-Main Twin Feature 1. Gregory led the opening laps as Dave Bailey quickly found himself running in the second position. Bailey overtook Gregory for the lead on lap four after a race restart from a caution. Meanwhile the battle for second was hotly contested between Gregory, Ronn Loggie, and Ryan Beagle. This battle for second benefited Bailey as he was able to race at his own pace, picking up the win by a healthy margin. Finishing next were Gregory in second, Loggie third, Beagle fourth, and Klazinga fifth.
Twin Feature 2:
Gofast Teeple and Tyler French brought the 26 car field to the green flag for the Thunder Stock A-Main Twin Feature 2. A pileup occurred, so the start of the race got recalled back. Teeple, French and Trevor DeBoer shared the lead in the opening laps, until DeBoer was able to stabilize the lead on lap four. Ryan Beagle was able to capitalize on a race restart, gaining the lead with just seven laps remaining. Dave Bailey tried to track down Beagle for the win and sweep the twin features, but Beagle kept Bailey at bay with the “broom”, winning the feature. Rounding out the top five were Bailey in second, DeBoer in third, Ron Loggie fourth, and French fifth.
Insta-Insulation Mini Stocks
Twin Feature 1:
The front row of the grid featured Ken Hair and Nick Erskine to begin the 13 lap Mini Stock A-Main Twin Feature 1. Hair and Nick Erskine battled for the lead in the opening laps, trading the lead until Erskine was finally able to break away. Alex Riley mounted a challenge for the lead, but the laps ran out as Nick Erskine picked up his first victory of the season. There was a huge battle for remaining top five spots which saw Hair finish in third, Elsliger fourth, and Alexander Klotz fifth.
Twin Feature 2:
The front row of the grid featured Cole Craig and Doug Erskine to begin the 13 lap Mini Stock A-Main Twin Feature 2. Craig and Doug Erskine battled for the lead in the opening laps until Doug Erskine was able to pull away, leading confidently. Later on in the race, Alexander Klotz took full advantage of Hair and Doug Erskine fighting over the first position, sneaking by them on the high line off turn four for the lead with seven laps left to go. Klotz raced himself to his second victory of the season with a 1.139 second advantage. Rounding out the top five were Hair in second, Elsliger third, Alex Riley fourth, and Craig Cole fifth.
Mod Lites
Twin Feature 1:
Dylan Sliter started on pole alongside Sean Iftody to take the green flag for the 12 Lap Mod Lites A-Main Twin Feature 1. Ryan Anderson brought out the red flag as he spun out in the middle of the field, collecting Nick Sarantakos who flipped after the contact. Sarantakos’ vehicle suffered terminal damage, retiring from the race before the first lap was completed. Iftody and Dylan Sliter were inseparable as they shared the lead at multiple times throughout the race, however, Iftody was able to edge out Dylan Sliter for the lead and eventual victory after a race caution in the closing laps. Finishing in the top five were Fabio Olivieri in third, Ashton Anderson fourth, and Josh Sliter fifth.
Twin Feature 2:
Kelly Anthony started on pole alongside Chris Watson to take the green flag for the 12 Lap Mod Lites A-Main Twin Feature 2. The race came to a halt as the red flag came out nullifying the start. Josh Sliter suffered a spin collecting both Cohen Corbett and Dave Comish. Anthony led after the restart until Ashton Anderson overtook for the lead on lap three. The final laps became the Anderson showdown as Ryan Anderson was hot on the heels of Ashton. When the checkers came out it was Ashton who won by only 0.793 seconds. Ryan had to settle for second, while the top five featured Sean Iftody in third, Chris Watson fourth, and Fabio Olivieri fifth.

The facility is owned by the Styres family, and located in the village of Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada. Ohsweken’s weekly Friday Night Excitement racing program runs from May to September each year, featuring 360 Sprint Cars, Crate Sprint Cars, Thunder Stocks, and Mini Stocks, while the facility also hosts weekly Micro Sprint and Kart racing on Thursday nights.
