by Tommy Goudge (April 28, 2016) – Ohsweken, Ontario – Ohsweken Speedway is calling all police officers, firefighters, and paramedics to Emergency Services Night presented by Corr/Pak Merchandising!
All first responders carrying their professional ID will be admitted free of charge on Friday, May 27. The Kool Kidz Corr/Pak 360 Sprint Cars, Strickland’s GMC Crate Sprint Cars, Affordable Towing & Recovery Thunder Stocks, HRW Automotive Mini Stocks, and Gale’s Auto Aftermarket Bombers will all be in action that night, contesting the second round of their weekly racing series.
Ohsweken Speedway would like to have as many Police, Fire, and EMS vehicles as possible on display on May 27 for our fans to get up close to the people and machines which keep us safe. Please call the speedway at 519 717-0023 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to help.
First responders are extremely important to Ohsweken Speedway and our communities as a whole. Many current and former Ohsweken Speedway racers and staff are also involved in emergency services; Mini Stock racer Lucas Lubin was recently hired by the Hamilton Police Service, while fellow Mini Stock racer Chad Smelser is a member of the Haldimand County Fire Department, and many members of the speedway’s EMR Safety Team are also active first responders.
