Huppunen aims for his third 360 championship and his first since 2013.
Strickland’s GMC Crate Sprint Cars
The fourth season of racing in the Strickland’s GMC Crate Sprint Car division has been very competitive, with large car counts every week. Holly Porter enters the night with a 31-point lead over last year’s track champion Jesse McDonald. The top-five is completed by Mike Thorne, Shone Evans and Mack DeMan, who are separated by just two points and are 66, 67, and 68 points back of Porter, respectively.
Middleport Mechanical Thunder Stocks
Dave Bailey will enter Friday night with a 122-point advantage over Ryan Dinning in his quest for a third straight Middleport Mechanical Thunder Stock division Championship. The friendly rivals have raced side-by-side for much of the year, so don’t expect anything else in the booked to this year’s point battle.

The second tightest point battle going into Friday is in the HRW Automotive Mini Stock division. Mark Bauzin enters the night with just a six-point lead over Nick Masi. Jon Janssens, who is currently third in points, is only 25 notches behind Bauzin. Tim DeBoer and Bobby Tolton complete the top-five and are currently 52 and 71 points back.
Gale’s Auto Aftermarket Bombers
The infield oval at Ohsweken has seen some of the most action-packed racing this year and that will continue into the final points night as Lucas Smith enters the evening with a 27-point advantage over Paul Longboat. Dustin Longboat, last year’s Gale’s Auto Aftermarket Bombers Champion, is third in points, 41 notches back of Smith.
