OHSWEKEN, Ont. – June 8, 2017 – Ohsweken Speedway officials have cancelled Micro Sprint practice for Thursday, June 8 due to poor track conditions. Despite the efforts of the track maintenance crew who have been on the small track day and night all week, it is still not in raceable condition.
“The surface is not tightening up the way we needed it to. We have been on it all week but still need a few more days to get it where it needs to be for micro sprint racing, ” said Ohsweken Speedway owner Glenn Styres, who has spent the majority of the week in the grater himself trying to prep the track for the young racers.
Ohsweken Speedway will continue with Micro Sprint Racing on Thursday, June 15.
