HEAT RACES:
-Each Heat Race will be eight (8) green flag laps.
-Heat Races will be lined up by pill draw.
-A total of 30 drivers will transfer to an A-Main; the heat race winners will automatically transfer, while the highest remaining drivers in Ohsweken Speedway Passing Points will also transfer.
-There will not be a B-Main. Drivers who do not transfer are done for the night.
A-MAINS:
-Each of the two (2) A-Mains will be 15 green flag laps, and include a maximum of 15 cars.
-Each A-Main will be lined straight up by Ohsweken Speedway Passing Points. The driver with the highest Heat Race passing points total will start first in A-Main #1, the driver with the second-highest passing points total will start first in A-Main #2, the driver with the third-highest passing points total will start second in A-Main #1, and so on. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be the driver with the lowest pill draw.
-The Twin 15 winners will have a guaranteed starter position in row five (positions 9 and 10) to start the Northern Sprint Car Nationals A-Main on Saturday night.

ORDER OF EVENTS:
–Hot Laps, Qualifications, Heat Races, D-Main, C-Main, Pole Dash, B-Main, A-Main
PILL DRAW:
-The field will be split into three “Flights” using a pill draw. Flight 1 will make up Heat Race 1 and 2, while Flight 2 will make up Heat Race 3 and 4, and Flight 3 will make up Heat Race 5 and 6.
-Each of the Flights will be split into four Qualification Groups (1A/1B/1C/1D, 2A/2B/2C/2D, etc.)
HOT LAPS:
–The Hot Lap sessions will combine groups; Groups 1A and 1B will hot lap together, and so on.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Each Qualification group will get three (3) green flag Qualification laps, with each driver’s fastest single lap recorded as their Official Time.
-Drivers must proceed immediately to the scale/technical inspection area after their Qualification session, and before returning to their pit stalls.
-Drivers ranked in odd-numbered positions after their Qualification session will make up the odd-numbered Heat Races, while those ranked in even-numbered positions will make up the even-numbered Heat Races.
HEAT RACES:
-Each Heat Race will be 10 green flag laps and include a maximum of 12 cars.
-Heat Races will be lined up by Qualification times, with the top four drivers inverted in each starting lineup.
-The top three (3) finishers in each Heat Race will transfer directly to the A-Main and must proceed immediately to the scale/technical inspection area after their Heat Race, and before returning to their pit stalls.
-The C-Main will be used if there are more than 24 non-qualified cars, and the D-Main will be used if there are more than 42 non-qualified cars.
-If a C-Main and/or D-Main is used, cars finishing in the 4th, 5th, and 6th positions in each Heat Race will transfer to the B-Main, cars finishing 7th, 8th, and 9th will transfer to the C-Main, and cars finishing 10th, 11th, and 12th will transfer to the D-Main.
-The top eight drivers in overall Ohsweken Speedway Passing Points who transferred to the A-Main will qualify for the Pole Dash. In the event of a tie, the first tiebreaker will be the driver’s heat race finish. The second tiebreaker will be the driver’s rank within their Qualification Flight. The third tiebreaker will be the driver’s fastest Qualification lap. The fourth tiebreaker will be the lowest pill draw.
-The winners of the two Friday night Twin 15’s are guaranteed starting spots in the fifth row (positions 9 and 10) of Saturday night’s A-Main lineup. If these drivers qualify for the Pole Dash, they will not use their guaranteed starter options. If either of these drivers do not transfer through their heat races, they will be added to the A-Main lineup BEFORE the B-Main, C-Main, and D-Main run; these two guaranteed starters will not run a D-Main, C-Main, or B-Main.
D-MAIN:
-The D-Main will be 10 green flag laps and include a maximum of 24 cars.
-The field will be lined straight up by Ohsweken Speedway Passing Points. The first tiebreaker will be the driver’s Heat Race finish, followed by the tiebreakers listed in the Heat Race section (above).
-The top four (4) finishers will transfer to the last two rows of the C-Main and must proceed immediately to the scale/technical inspection area before returning to their pit stalls.
C-MAIN:
-The C-Main will be 10 green flag laps and include a maximum of 24 cars. (maximum 22 cars if a D-Main is run)
-The field will be lined straight up by Ohsweken Speedway Passing Points. The first tiebreaker will be the driver’s Heat Race finish, followed by the tiebreakers listed in the Heat Race section (above).
-The top four (4) finishers will transfer to the last two rows of the B-Main and must proceed immediately to the scale/technical inspection area before returning to their pit stalls.
B-MAIN:
-The B-Main will be 12 green flag laps and include a maximum of 24 cars. (maximum 22 cars if a C-Main is run)
-The field (except C-Main transfers) will be lined straight up by Ohsweken Speedway Passing Points. The first tiebreaker will be the driver’s Heat Race finish, followed by the tiebreakers listed in the Heat Race section (above).
-The top four finishers* will transfer to the A-Main and must proceed immediately to the scale/technical inspection area before returning to their pit stalls. *The fifth and sixth place finishers may also transfer to the A-Main if the Friday Twin 15 guaranteed starter positions are not used, and must also proceed immediately to the scale/technical inspection area before returning to their pit stalls.
-Other non-qualified cars may be eligible for a provisional A-Main starting position; see Guaranteed Starters and Provisional Starters section below.
POLE DASH:
-The Pole Dash will be five green flag laps and include a maximum of eight cars.
-The Pole Dash will be lined straight up by Ohsweken Speedway Passing Points. The first tiebreaker will be the driver’s Heat Race finish, followed by the tiebreakers listed in the Heat Race section (above).
-The finishing order of the Pole Dash will determine the starting order for the first four rows (positions 1-8) of the A-Main.
A-MAIN:
-The A-Main will be 35 green flag laps and include a maximum of 30 cars.
-Positions 1-8 will be lined straight up from the Pole Dash finish.
-Positions 9-18* will be made up of the remaining transfer cars from the Heat Races, and lined straight up by Ohsweken Speedway Passing Points. The first tiebreaker will be the driver’s Heat Race finish, followed by the tiebreakers listed in the Heat Race section (above). *Positions 9 and 10 may also used by the Friday night Twin 15 winners.
-Positions 19-22* will be made up of the transfer cars from the B-Main. Positions 23 and 24 may also be made up of transfer cars from the B-Main if the Twin 15 guaranteed starter positions are not used. These positions will be lined up by the B-Main finishing order.
-Positions 25-30 will be made up of Guaranteed Starters and/or Provisional Starters as outlined below:
GUARANTEED STARTERS & PROVISIONAL STARTERS:
-Guaranteed starter/provisional starter positions* are available to the following drivers:
1. The winners of the two (2) “Night Before the Nationals” Twin 15’s are guaranteed starting spots in the fifth or row (positions 9 and 10) of Saturday night’s A-Main lineup. If these drivers qualify for the Pole Dash, they will not use their guaranteed starter options. If either of these drivers do not transfer through their heat races, they will be added to the A-Feature lineup BEFORE the B-Features are run; these two guaranteed starters will not run a B-Main or C-Main.
2. The winners of the two “Thunder on the Grand” 360 Sprint Car A-Mains held at Ohsweken Speedway on July 11 and July 12 and the two “Labour Day Classic” 360 Sprint Car A-Mains held at Brighton Speedway on August 31 and September 1 are guaranteed starting spots immediately following the B-Main transfer cars in Saturday night’s A-Main lineup. These drivers (Dylan Westbrook, Tyeller Powless, and Ryan Turner) must make a reasonable attempt to participate in Qualifications, a Heat Race, and a C-Main and/or B-Main to be eligible for this provisional.
3. The highest-ranked drivers in the championship points standings for each of the affiliate sanctions (ESS, GLSS, Ohsweken, and SOS), ONLY if that affiliate sanction does not already have a representative qualified for the A-Main. Drivers will be asked to confirm their chosen affiliate sanction before their Pill Draw and cannot represent multiple sanctions. Drivers must make a reasonable attempt to participate in Qualifications, a Heat Race, and a D-Main, C-Main, and/or B-Main to be eligible for this provisional.
4. Any remaining A-Main starting positions will be awarded to the highest-ranked drivers in overall Ohsweken Speedway Passing Points from the Heat Races.
*The provisional starter positions will be lined up by the B-Main, C-Main, and D-Main finishing orders.
