OHSWEKEN, Ont. (June 7, 2018) – Ohsweken Speedway officials are excited to announce the creation of a new race day attraction, the Racer’s Marketplace, prior to three Friday Night Excitement events in 2018. The new Ohsweken Speedway Racer’s Marketplace will take place on June 15, July 20, and August 17.
The Racer’s Marketplace will allow Ohsweken Speedway drivers and race teams competing on those race nights to setup their team apparel, including t-shirts, hoodies, hats and more, behind the main grandstands from 6:00pm to 7:00pm and offer fans a chance to purchase apparel from their favourite driver or race team. There is no setup cost to the drivers or race teams.
“We are excited to work with our awesome race teams who support us each week and provide an avenue for them to sell their apparel to our dedicated fans,” said speedway general manager Clinton Geoffrey.
“We recognize that not all of our fans can make it over to the pits each week to visit a driver’s trailer, so we’re offering a way for fans to pickup a t-shirt from their favourite driver before racing begins,” added Geoffrey.
