Ohsweken, ON July 27, 2023 – Ohsweken Speedway regrets to announce the cancellation of tonight’s Micro Sprint and Go Kart Racing event scheduled for Thursday, July 27, 2023.
This unfortunate decision has been made due to the heavy rains experienced overnight and throughout the morning, resulting in significant flooding of the track, on ramp, and off ramp. General Manager Clinton Geoffrey expressed the speedway’s concerns, stating, “We were hopeful that the conditions would improve as the day progressed, but unfortunately, there has been little to no improvement. Considering the safety of all participants and attendees, we are left with no choice but to cancel tonight’s races.”
Micro Sprint and Go Kart racing will resume at Ohsweken Speedway on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023. . The speedway extends its sincere apologies to all the drivers, teams, fans, and partners affected by this cancellation.
