
by Tommy Goudge (October 8, 2014) – Ohsweken, Ontario – Ohsweken Speedway will be holding rules and registration meetings for all five of the track’s weekly Friday night racing divisions on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Best Western Brant Park Inn located at 19 Holiday Drive in Brantford, Ontario.
Memberships for the 2015 Ohsweken Speedway season will be available for purchase at the meetings. The membership fee is $60, and payable by cash, cheque, debit card, or credit card. The schedule for the meetings is as follows:
12:00pm to 1:00pm – Registration
1:00pm to 2:00pm – Mini Stocks and Bombers
2:15pm to 3:15pm – Thunder Stocks
3:30pm to 4:30pm – 360 Sprint Cars and Crate Sprint Cars
Schedules and other plans for the 2015 Ohsweken Speedway season are well underway, with the 2015 schedule slated to be officially released early in the new year.
About Ohsweken Speedway: Founded in 1996, Ohsweken Speedway is a motorsports complex which includes a 3/8 (0.375) mile clay oval track. The facility is owned by the Styres family, and located in the village of Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada. Ohsweken’s weekly Friday night racing program runs from May to September each year, featuring 360 Sprint Cars, Crate Sprint Cars, Thunder Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Bombers, while the season finishes each year with the annual Canadian Sprint Car Nationals. Ohsweken Speedway also hosts weekly Micro Sprint racing on Thursday nights, and has been a yearly stop on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series schedule since 2007.
