OHSWEKEN, ON – Unfortunately, after waiting it out as long as we possibly could today, Ohsweken Speedway has made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s Outlaw Karting program.
The Speedway took on a significant amount of rain overnight, and the cloudy and humid conditions throughout the day have simply not allowed things to dry out. Our track crew has been waiting and watching all day hoping to get equipment onto the track, but the entire racing surface remains far too soft and muddy to properly pack and prepare it for tonight.
We are extremely disappointed to have to make this call, especially after waiting throughout the day hoping conditions would improve enough to give everyone a chance to race. Unfortunately, we have reached the point where there simply isn’t enough time or drying conditions to properly prepare the track.
The good news is we are excited to welcome everyone back Thursday, September 10 for Championship Night and the final points night of the 2026 season. Championships will be decided, and we’re looking forward to finishing the points season with a great night of racing.
