OHSWEKEN, Ont. (June 26, 2026) – Case IH and O’Neil’s Farm Equipment presented Agriculture Night featuring the Great Lakes Super Sprints series and RoC Sportsman Modifieds on Friday at Ohsweken Speedway. Dylan Westbrook, Steve Murdock, James Friesen, and Ken Hair took A-Main victories.
Great Lake Super Sprints Series
Ryan Turner started on pole with Darren Dryden next to him for the 25 lap Great Lake Super Sprints A-Main. Dryden hooked up right away and led the opening lap. Traffic quickly became a factor in just five laps as Dryden began to quickly put drivers a lap down.
Dryden still had the lead by the halfway point of the race, however Dylan Westbrook was closing the gap with Cory Turner and D.J. Christie in tow. Multiple lead changes between Westbrook and Cory Turner thrilled the crowd in the closing laps while Dryden fell into Christie’s clutches. Westbrook was able to fight off the challenge and secure his 56th Ohsweken 360 Sprint Car win, keeping his competitors from claiming a bounty in the process. Finishing out the top five were Cory Turner in second, Christie third, Dryden fourth, and Ryan Turner fifth.
Strickland’s Crate Sprint Cars
Austin Roes and Steve Murdock brought the 28 car field to the green flag for the Crate Sprint Car A-Main. Roes and Murdock were swapping the lead until a caution flag came out on lap two when Brett Stratford came to a stop off turn four. A red flag was then thrown when Stratford needed medical attention after it was discovered that he was struck in the chest by a piece of clay.
Murdock quickly began to open a lead as sliced through traffic, but a late race caution flag set up a three lap dash to the finish. Jesse Costa and Keegan Baker capitalized on the restart, cementing themselves into the final podium steps while Murdock picked up a well-deserved victory. Rounding out the top five were Roes in fourth and Logan Shwedyk fifth.
RoC Sportsman Modifieds
The front row of the grid featured James Friesen and Glenn Styres to begin the 25 lap RoC Sportsman Modified A-Main. Friesen asserted his dominance as he quickly built a sizable gap between himself and the field. James began to make quick work of the lap traffic on lap ten.
The race ran clean and green as the drivers jockeyed for positions. Cody McPherson and Dan Ferguson put on a valiant effort trying to catch Friesen, but their time ran out as Friesen crossed the finish first, leaving McPherson and Ferguson to take the final two podium spots. Nigel Pendykoski finished in fourth, and Brad Rouse claimed fifth.
Insta-Insulation Mini Stocks
Tim DeBoer started on pole alongside Doug Erskine to take the green flag for the 15 Lap Mini Stock A-Main. DeBoer led the opening lap, however Erskine quickly took the lead away. These two drivers put on a great show of racing neck and neck for multiple laps, while Ken Hair was slicing and dicing through the field after starting 22nd.
The battle for the lead slowed the leaders down, allowing Hair to set up a pass for the lead with just two laps left to go. Hair picked up the win with a legendary drive to the lead, while Erskine had to settle for a second place finish and DeBoer claimed the final podium step. Rounding out the top five were Alex Riley in fourth and Jeremy Cooper fifth.
